I was interviewed about Midwest Shreds in Matter News!
Technically, my book isn’t even out yet, and I’m LOVING the author life! I got to sell early copies at the Columbus Book Festival this past weekend and am riding the high of that. I worried that I might get peopled out because tens of thousands of people attend this festival (the final count was 40,225 this year!!) but I’m more fired up and energized than ever!
The (adopted) hometown love is continuing because Matter News in Columbus ran this interview with me today!
I’m so grateful to live in a city that loves authors and has such a wonderfully supportive literary ecosystem. I came to Columbus for a partner I’m no longer with and before I met him, Columbus wasn’t on my radar at all as a place I’d want to live. And although it didn’t work out with that guy, I’d do it all a thousand times over to get to this city. I’m not in love with him, but I sure am in love with Columbus. And I think Columbus is a little in love with me, too.
