Zine Workshop - Introduction to Zine Making

Curious about zines? Whether you’ve never made one before or you’re an old pro, this workshop is for you!

You’ll learn about the history of zines, including their various formats and content, then you’ll make your own. Zines are often political in nature, so this workshop will focus on social justice as it relates to zine-making.

The workshop is free and in-person at the Old Worthington Library, but registration is required. Get all the details here! :)

Nonfiction Book Proposal Workshop

I’ve been a part of the group See Jane Write for a little over a decade now and I owe all my freelance know-how to the founder, Javacia Harris Bowser. That’s why I’m pumped to be doing a nonfiction book proposal workshop for the SJW online conference and membership drive!

The See Jane Write Summit 2022 is a full week of workshops and speakers that takes place mostly online.

The full schedule is available here. Note that you have to be a See Jane Write member to attend my workshop. I can tell you from firsthand experience that the investment, which isn’t even that much, is well worth it.
