I’m honored by how deeply readers are engaging with the book. It’s an incredible gift to receive texts, DMs, and emails with kind words about the collection, then see the posts readers were inspired to make. There are so many books in the world; therefore, anyone choosing to read mine will always be a source of gratitude straight from my heart.

And I can’t believe my book launch is tomorrow!! Tuesday, July 22nd, at 8pm at Two Dollar Radio Headquarters here in Columbus. I’ll have three opening poets (Sara Abou Rashed, Nathan McDowell, and Travis Chi Wing Lau), as well as an art sale fundraiser for The Sameer Project. If you’re around town, I’d love to see you there! I’ll have 10 handwoven Palestine flags and an oil pastel painting of a poppy field.
