My chapbook manuscript advanced to the finals!
Just shy of two weeks ago, I shared that the chapbook version of my poetry manuscript, We Had Mansions, was a finalist in one contest and a semifinalist in another. While I didn’t advance in the one I was a finalist in then, I’m happy to report that I’ve advanced from semifinalist to finalist in the other contest!
Thank you to Wolfson Press for choosing me as one of the ten finalists. Even if I don’t win officially, I’m counting it as a win because I believe in celebrating at every stage. The writing life is solitary and rife with rejection, so I take every excuse to celebrate.
