The coolest town in Iowa you probably didn't know about

If there’s one thing I know about placemaking, it’s this: Don’t let anyone tell you that small towns aren’t cool or that they don’t have diversity. I guarantee you anyone who holds tight to that belief is letting their own personal bias cloud their vision.

Recently, I had the chance to talk to folks in Hampton, Iowa, and let me tell you, it’s a lovely place. Next time I’m out that way, I can’t wait to stop in!
