Honored to be included among these Pali poet powerhouses in Columbus

There was an article in TIME Magazine a few weeks ago about George Abraham and Sarah Aziza, two Palestinian-American writers, and the power of poetry as a means of resistance. The article was brilliant because they are brilliant.

So when an editor at Matter News, a local nonprofit news site I love, asked if I wanted to be a part of a localized version of that article, highlighting three Palestinian poets in Columbus, I said yes. It was an emotional interview—I wasn’t expecting to cry, but I did.
